Our research program concerns three research domains: social cognition, with special emphasis on social judgment, attitudes, and decision making; emotion, with special emphasis on the role played by social and cultural factors in shaping the emotion process; and social identity, with special emphasis on the role played by identity processes in the creation, maintenance, and reduction of social stereotypes and intergroup discrimination.
