Larger working memory stimulates creative thinking
University of Amsterdam researchers and a fellow researcher from the University of Groningen have discovered that people are more creative if they have a larger working memory. The findings are due to be published shortly in the scientific journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.

UvA researcher receives NWO grant for study on comprehensible language and health care
The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) has awarded a €250,000 grant to Dr Bas van den Putte of the UvA’s Amsterdam School of Communication Research. Van den Putte will use the grant to study health care information for young people with learning difficulties.
